Tomorrow I leave for Book Expo America, where I will be signing ARCs (Advance Review Copies) of not one, but both of my fall releases: Blood Bound (August 20 US, UK, Canada) and If I Die (Sept 23 US, Canada). But I can’t get on the plane until I’ve packed, and I’m not allowed to pack until I’ve met my word count goal for today. How’s that for incentive?

Okay, I’m off to write more of SHADOW BOUND and do laundry. And pack. And confirm my flights. And maybe panic just a little bit. All in a day’s work.
Wish I could be there too but I can’t. Have a fantastic time! My daughter-in-law says go to Planet Doughnut. They are insanely delicious!

I’m so sad I won’t get to see you this year! I’m home with the new baby and really down about not going to BEA this year. I’d really love to grab both of your books. I’ll have to contact your publicist about getting copies. I SOOOO want Blood Bound!
*pout* I’d do ANYTHING to be at BEA this year. =( I’m going to go crazy knowing there are some people out there that already have Blood Bound and that I have to wait until AUGUST! Ah!
