Im wondering why i cant find the other books from the Adult Urban Fantasy collection I only found Rogue and Shift i cant get the others from the library.
Check with your library, if they are other branches they may have purchased them. I have noticed that my library does that one branch usually doesn’t have all of one series. I think they may do it to reduce costs, especially if you can borrow from any branch.

No book before it, that’s the very first. And, btw, I hope you enjoy the Shifter’s series as much as I did. It’s still one of my favorite series of all time.
When I started this series, I wasn’t sure, but by the time I got to the last book and looking for more! These books were able to elicit all kinds of emotions from me and when a book can do that, it tells me this is a great writer! I left this series only wanting more.
I want another book after alpha. It could be about faythe as the new alpha, jace and if he becomes alpha of his former pride(taking over for Malone), and faythe was never officially recognized. It could be so much more!
Also, continuing on what else could be made into another book after alpha… Kaci maybe marrying a di Carlo? And does jace find love… Even maybe Ethan getting a human woman pregnant turns the baby into a werecat!
i really hope she writes another book after alpha !! fingers and toes crossed that she does
I enjoy the vampire, werewolf, faery and ghost books but I really love all of Rachel’s books especially the Shift series.
For those of you that loved the Shift Series, The short story in, “Chicks Kick Butt” is another werecat story. I would love to read more werecat stories and books so hopefully Rachel won’t stop there.
If you enjoy “Soul Screamer” hunt up the “Reaper” short story.
I can’t wait to read “Blood Bound”. Rachel’s characters are vivid and real making both good and bad choices which make her fantasy world books even more believable.
If you enjoy Rachel’s books you may enjoy books by Patricia Briggs too. They both paint very vivid worlds and characters that are fun reading.

“My Soul To Lose” and “Reaper” aren’t novels. They’re short stories/novellas, and I just didn’t think to include them with these traditionally published books.
where can i get my soul to lose and reaper as i cant seem to find them at any of my local book stores???

For the moment, they’re online-only novellas, available from any online book store, in any format. Kindle, Nook, etc… But “My Soul To Lose” will be printed for the first time in the Soul Screamers omnibus, which comes out this November.

Ive managed to get a copy of MST Lose but cannot get a copy of reaper ANYWHERE.
Ive literally searched everywhere! ive read that it was free on your website but has been taken off becuase of your new book.
Will it be on again so i can read it?

ummmm, i got it from a website called 4shared.
In that case, I have no idea whether or not you got the whole file, because that’s an illegal site full of pirated files. Any published book you get there is posted there illegally, and neither the author nor publisher were paid for their work.
I’m kind of assuming you don’t know what e-piracy is, so here’s a quick tip: if you download an ebook without paying for it and it didn’t come from a library, the author’s site, the publisher’s site, or a real online book store (Amazon, Barnes & Noble.com, etc…) as part a promotional campaign, you almost certainly got an illegal copy. Almost ALL ebooks (including short stories) cost money, and it is illegal to upload a copy of an ebook written by someone else. That’s a violation of the author’s copyright.
There are exceptions, but they’re most often found on the author’s website as giveaways, NOT on illegal file-sharing sites.

I have a few q’s for you and I’m not sure where to direct them. I saw that you are planning, or maybe even writing, a new Soul Screamers book; how many are you planning to write? (I stayed up all night to read If I Die on Kindle!) How many Unbound books are you planning?
I’ve scoured the internet and my friend even called the location in Seattle, but we can’t figure out if there will be books to purchase when we get there. I know we would both love to have signed books of yours since you are our favorite author!

There’s been interest in the film rights for Shifters twice, but I have yet to actually option it, so for now, no movie.

I have just read Pride from the shifter series and loved it. I have been trying to find Prey and Shift but with no luck. I found Alpha but do not want to read it before the others. I have searched all the book stores and the 2nd hand book shops in my area(Gold Coast Qld) and I can’t find them. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to get them? I think Rachel Vincent writes awesome stories that are so easy to read and escape in.

Australia. I went for a drive down the coast and found them in a second hand book shop a few days later. Have read them all now and loved them. Will there be another one? Would love to read about Jace taking over from Alex, Faythe and Marc getting married and having kids, the council without Malone, who Kaci could end up with, Ethan’s baby etc etc etc etc There just seems so much more ……You make it so easy to read and as a lover of books I would have to say they are up there as one of my favourite series. Thank you for giving me an escape from my sad world at the moment which is filled with my battle with cancer and divorce. Can’t wait to read more.

Thanks, I’m so glad you like them. The Shifters series is not YA, and if it were a movie, it’d be rated R for L, V, N, & SC. Whether or not you try that series is totally up to you and your parents.

First off smart move making my soul to lose free because it got me hooked on Kaylee! I am totally an adult but find i like alot of the YA books because they seem to have better story lines. i have so far listened to the entire series and the twist at the end of if i die. keep up the good work !!

I know, very exciting! Luckily for me it was a free audio book! And I have now bought the entire series on audible.com Amanda ranconi does a great job reading them, but now I have to survive till the next book:( but one good thing is you have hooked my 14 year old niece who suffers from ADHD I have trouble getting her to read but now I force her to listen while I drive her around and she is begging me to put the whole series on disk for her so she can listen to the whole thing!!! So my hat off to you ms. Vincent!!!

Alas, it’s not up to an author to make her books into films. It’s up to producers in Hollywood to buy the film rights and put together all the necessary parties to make a movie.

Yes, right now, the only place to get “My Soul To Lose” in print is in Volume One. Right now, “Reaper” isn’t available in print, but it’s availble in ebook format for about $3 at any ebook store.
First of all. i just read the first soul seekers book last weekend, then had to run to the store to buy the next two
I’m done with those, and hoping to get my soul to steal and if i die, plus the prequel pretty soon.
First question: Where can i get Reaper? (i cant find it anywhere..checked the library also.)
Second: Am I the only one who sees the chemistry between Kaylee and Tod? Or do i just feel that way because i haven’t read the other books yet?

Hopefully that will change soon, but for now, if you live in any of those countries, you should be able to get it for around $3 at any online book store.

I was just wondering, as I have never downloaded an e-book as I love turning the pages..lol..do I need a kindle or something like that to be able to download and read ‘Reaper’ and yes I would definately purchase this from Amazon..illegal copies are not something that I would ever obtain as I love to validate you for the amazing work that you do and that cannot be achieved by stealing from you.

Hey Rachel! I just got my hands on If I Die yesterday, and I just finished it. I was WONDERFUL! I loved every bit of it. Well, there where exactly one part where I wanted to chuck it across the room because I was angry about…something, but thank goodness for happy surprises, huh?

The length of time it takes to write a book depends on the particular book and what other obligations I have while I’m writing it.
I really love the Soul Screamers series, just finished “Before I Wake” and it was amazing.. Good job! So sad that there is going to be only one more book but I’m counting on it that the series will go out with a bang

Are you going to start selling “Reaper” in print soon? I dont have an e-book, so I cant buy it online.. And I dont live in the US, Canada or France. I really want to read the book. And Its so sad that it cant be sold in my country. Heck, I got problem getting If I die, and before I wake in my country. I talk to the people in the bookshop, and they said that no shop in my country has it, so I have to buy it online. But I really wish that you would start printing Reaper on paper… Im dying to read!

Several things. First, I don’t use this blog anymore. In fact, I’m about to delete it. I now blog at rachelvincent.com/blog.
Second, it’s not up to me, how “Reaper” is published. That’s up to my publisher, which is different in every country. In the US, “Reaper” will be available in print as part of Soul Screamers omnibus Volume 2 this November. But I don’t know of any plans to print it in any other country. Sorry!

Hi Rachel, Firstly I’d like to say that you are a BRILLIANT writer and I hope that you write many more books in the future for us all to enjoy!
I am currently reading ‘Soul Screamers’ and I am up to ‘BIW’ and I feel like I have gotten to know the characters as if they were people I knew in real life. That may sound silly but it just shows how talented you are, I cant really imagine stuff well (I’m kinda weird like that ahaa) but I feel like the story is happening before my eyes and it has really helped me with my imagination! I live in the UK and I was wondering if you know if Reaper or MST Lose is available here, as print or e-book, and if it is, do you know where I could find it?
I really do hope you write more material like Soul Screamers (Its the only series I’ve currently read of yours so I cant compare it to your other work-but I DEFFINETELY plan on reading every single book of yours!!) or maybe do a further look into Tod and Kaylee’s ‘ever-after’ (Unless you already have and then I’m rambling on for no reason :L ) so that the story doesn’t end there!
